Foundation Day 2018
"Outward Bound” at the Landheim
On an anual base the so called Foundation Day takes place to commemorate the foundations formation by Ernst and Julie Reisinger (born Kerschensteiner) on Oktober 1st 1929. According to the Motto "Outward Bound" Head of Foundation Rüdiger Häusler in his speech talked about the pedagogic diversity at the Landheim and especially about the model of experiential education, a baseline of the Landheims Philosophy, that is aiming to lead our students from their comfort to their "study zone", without touching the danger zone. This program is executed in all of our 9th grades and consists of three phases: the first phase is a preparation meeting at the Landheim, followed by an "Outward Bound Winter Week" and an expedition to Baad/Schwangau and concluded by an award ceremony, in which Mrs. Dr. Dagmar Bangert will hand over our "Outward Bound Certificates" to the participants.
