Athletics are, without a doubt, an integral element in developing the mental and physical fitness of young people. It isn’t a question of whether to participate in sports, but which sports to choose. Athletics help not only to cultivate a student’s ability to concentrate, but also aid in the fundamental development of a student’s character. Team spirit, courage, competitiveness, and passion are all required. Here the student learns how to lose with dignity and to win with grace.
Sports are the ideal forum for team interaction, regardless of a student’s language or cultural background. Students learn to test their own limits, an experience which is indispensable for their future.
