Landheim-Glocke auf Fensterbank

Live values.

Mission statement

Holistic through and through: We guide our students through academic, physical, character and artistic challenges and thus educate them to independence and maturity. Our mission statement "Live values" is deeply rooted in the history of the Landheim. It is based on the foundation charter of 1929 and has only been cautiously updated over the years, because the following remains unchanged: We support our students in developing the competence to work independently, make judgements, solve problems and make decisions.

The Ring: Guardians of the Code

The elected student council at Landheim is called ‘the Ring’. It meets weekly with the management and accompanies and advises on all important school and boarding school issues. Based on the mission statement, the Ring has drawn up a code of values and adopted it with the entire student body. The code is a guideline that facilitates cooperation between all Landheim residents – students and staff alike.

Dress code for all Landheimers

We attach great importance to clothing that is appropriate for the occasion. In accordance with our code of values, we do not judge people by their clothing and do not define people by brands. We therefore expect restraint when it comes to expensive supposed status symbols. In our clothing shop, every student is required to purchase the following basics, which are to be worn on certain occasions: shirt, polo shirt, jumper, sports shirt and trousers.

The following rules apply during lesson time:

  • No jogging trousers, no sportswear
  • No clothing that is too short
  • No offensive, vulgar or political messages
  • Appropriateness in terms of cleanliness and large ‘decorative holes’
