Landheim Academy
Deepening knowledge. Broadening horizons. The Landheim Academy complements regular lessons with a varied, challenging programme of courses – interdisciplinary, practical and with a view to the world of tomorrow. Whether rhetoric, philosophy, photography or business English – the Academy's courses combine academic thinking with creative development and the real world. The result is an offer that makes you want more – beyond the traditional timetable. The Academy promotes independent research, open-ended work and dialogue with others. In projects, workshops and seminars, learners test their interests and discover new ones.
Lecturers from science and culture bring fresh impetus into the classroom. They provide insights into specialist areas that go beyond the school curriculum and accompany the young people as equals. The Academy's content and formats are geared towards current requirements in higher education and the world of work. At the same time, they hone key future skills such as communication skills, analytical thinking, creativity and personal responsibility.
At the learning centre, learning doesn't feel like a chore. You can work in peace, get help from teachers when you need it and always find someone who can explain things well. It's a place where you really understand things instead of just learning them by heart.

Learning locations
Whether in the classroom, by the flowing campus stream, in the library, in the learning centre, on the jetty or in the boarding room ... The Landheim offers many learning locations that provide ideal conditions depending on the learning situation. Everyone will find their favourite place.
Learning centre
Learning comes to life in the learning centre, where students can study the subject matter at their own pace – in quiet quiet study rooms for concentrated work or in project rooms for discussions with others. Teachers from the respective subject areas are also available to explain content, answer questions and go into more depth on specific topics. This creates a place of learning where knowledge grows – individually, in a structured way and together.
Digital learning
Mastering technology. Understanding media. Shaping the future. Digital learning at Landheim Ammersee means more than just using devices – it is a reflective, pedagogically sound approach to media, data and technology in everyday education. Digital tools are used specifically to reinforce content – not as an end in themselves, but as a supplement to analogue learning. The focus is not on devices, but on the confident handling of information, communication and critical reflection.
Excellent technical equipment, loan devices and learning platform-supported teaching form the technical basis. Data protection, IT security and the responsible handling of personal data are naturally integrated and professionally supervised.
Digital education is part of the overall educational concept: project-oriented, interdisciplinary and team-based. The ability to use digital spaces sensibly is taught, as is the competence to navigate them critically and ethically.
