More than just lessons – education for life

School

From the first day of school in Year 1 to the school-leaving exams, personal development is the focus at Landheim Ammersee. Small class sizes create space for targeted support, differentiated learning and sustainable personal development – tailored to strengths, interests and potential.

Learning with an attitude

The pedagogical foundation is based on personal perception, appreciation and clarity of values. Education is experienced in small learning groups: collectively, individually and value-oriented. Two different paths lead to the Abitur after the Julie Kerschensteiner Primary School: the state-approved Ernst-Reisinger-Gymnasium with a profile in modern languages and economics – and the state-approved Julius-Lohmann-Gymnasium as an individual alternative for pupils whose potential should not be limited by formal criteria.

Orientation through experience

From Year 9 onwards, the focus is not only on academic qualifications but also on career prospects, with sound career guidance accompanying the young people on their way to making well-considered decisions.

Living learning

Special learning locations, learning centres and digital learning offer individualised and active learning. The Landheim Academy supplements regular lessons with a diverse and challenging course programme.

Set sail, cast off.

Careers guidance at Landheim Ammersee doesn't just begin with graduation, but is an integral part of personal development. In age-appropriate modules, pupils explore their interests, strengths and possible career fields at an early stage.

3 years of upper school. 3 years of new horizons.

The 11³ upper school adds three new horizons to school education: performance, personality and community.

A temporary home, friends for life.

School is so much more than just timetabled lessons in a classroom. The wide range of activities on offer at our boarding school are aimed at all pupils and provide an incomparably lively campus atmosphere.

Daily routines from Year 5 onwards

School days are the most formative and intense period of our lives. It is a great responsibility and privilege to be able to accompany young people during this time.

Playful learning, self-confident growth

High-performing, value-orientated, forward-looking

A state-recognised grammar school with a profile in modern languages and economics – with a direct route to the Bavarian Abitur in nine school years. Academic excellence and personal development go hand in hand here.

Courage for individuality, room for development

The Julius-Lohmann-Gymnasium is a state-approved grammar school with an economics stream – but without the formal admission and transfer requirements of state grammar schools.
