Get to know us through a trial stay

The best way to really get to know Landheim Ammersee is to take part in a three-day trial stay. This allows you to experience everyday life at the school and boarding house first-hand – from the morning assembly through to lessons and the varied afternoon programme. Individual dates can be arranged by appointment.

Following the taster stay, we’ll hold a detailed, two-way feedback session to find out whether we’re a good fit for one another.

Admission requirements

Admission to Landheim Ammersee is not based solely on academic achievement – the focus is on each child’s individual journey. A personal consultation helps to ensure the best possible decision is made for the future.

Particular emphasis is placed on social skills, personal responsibility and commitment. Anyone choosing Landheim as a place to learn and live should be open to new ideas, willing to contribute to the community and ready to realise their full potential.

Alongside lessons, Landheim offers a varied programme of supplementary educational activities – ranging from craft and creative workshops to sports, music and cultural activities. Here, education means far more than simply imparting knowledge. Life at the boarding school fosters important social skills such as team spirit, a willingness to help others and leadership qualities.

Admissions from Year 1

Admission is generally possible at any year group from Year 1 to Year 12; for Year 13, admission is only permitted in exceptional cases. School transfers can be arranged flexibly; pupils may join at the start of the term or, in exceptional cases, even during the current school year.

Interested families will receive a personalised admission recommendation during a face-to-face meeting. A direct discussion and a trial stay provide an authentic insight into everyday life at Landheim Ammersee. We are also happy to put you in direct contact with parents’ representatives at Landheim Ammersee.
