Once a Landheimer, always a Landheimer.
Altlandheim Association
With over 600 members, the ALB provides a framework for maintaining and developing this sense of community with minimal effort, even after one’s time at the Landheim has ended. After all, all Landheimers are united by the Landheim spirit, regardless of whether they attended the school together or not.
Where the past meets new encounters.
At the heart of the ALB’s activities is the big Altlandheimertag, which takes place every two years at the Landheim. We spend a weekend revisiting our time at the Landheim, with plenty of fun, hockey or football matches, the Landheim jetty, dancing and much more. At the same time, we have the opportunity to experience the Landheim of today through exchanges with pupils and staff.
Throughout the year, regional meetings take place in various locations (Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, etc.) within the so-called ‘circles’. A newsletter keeps members informed about news from the ALB and the Landheim. Further activities are organised as required, such as hockey matches with other alumni associations and golf tournaments.
The ALB offers access to a network of like-minded people who can serve as your first point of contact in a new city, help you find a job, or simply be a circle of friends.

The ALB supports current pupils
However, the ALB is also committed to fostering a sense of community with the Landheim and current pupils.
Once a year, former Landheim pupils organise a careers and university information evening for upper school pupils. Landheim pupils can explore various career paths, potentially secure work experience placements and ask questions – in a relaxed, informal setting amongst fellow Landheimers.
Through our annual donation to the Landheim, which is funded by membership fees, we support the workshops and other projects that directly benefit the pupils.
