Mornings: Language lessons
The morning is devoted to language – four hours of interactive lessons with native-speaking teachers. In English or German. In small groups and at three different language levels, we focus on:
- Oral expression
- Vocabulary and grammar
- Written language skills
- Cultural knowledge
We are particularly proud of our joint summer camp newspaper, which documents the children's experiences and learning progress – a real community project.
Afternoons: Action, creativity & team spirit
In the afternoons, participants put together their own programme. The courses promote team spirit, creativity, exercise and self-confidence – and are simply great fun! They choose two out of seven exciting courses, which they attend for one week each:
- English Drama
- Tennis on the school's own clay court
- Watersports (sailing, kayaking, pedal boating, rowing, stand-up paddling at the school's own jetty)
- Team sports (hockey, basketball, football, etc.)
- Climbing
- Art
- Crafts
Weekend: Get out into nature!
The middle weekend focuses on discovering the nearby mountains with adventurous activities. You can choose from multi-day excursions such as:
- Summit tours with overnight stays in huts in the Zugspitze massif
- A weekend in our school's own hut on Lake Staffelsee – with barbecues, swimming, hiking and adventure games, far away from everyday life, in the middle of a nature reserve.
- Survival: Abandoned in the middle of nature, the group navigates its way to a secret location using a map and compass.
