Mission Statement
The Ring: Guardians of the Code
The elected student council at Landheim is known as ‘the Ring’. It meets weekly with the management and provides support and advice on all important school and boarding school matters. Based on the mission statement, ‘Der Ring’ has drawn up a code of values and adopted it with the entire student body. The code serves as a guideline to facilitate harmonious relations amongst everyone at Landheim – pupils and staff alike.
Dress code for all Landheim residents
We place great importance on wearing clothing appropriate to the occasion. In accordance with our code of values, we do not judge people by their clothes, nor do we define people by the brands they wear. We therefore expect a restrained approach to expensive, so-called status symbols. Every pupil is required to purchase the following basic items from our school shop, which must be worn on specific occasions: a shirt, a polo shirt, a jumper, a sports top and sports trousers.
The following rules apply during lesson time:
- No tracksuit bottoms, no sportswear
- No clothing that is too short
- No offensive, vulgar or political messages
- Clothing must be kept clean and free from large ‘decorative holes’
Our in-house boutique only has a small selection of school uniform items in stock: a ‘just-in-case’ stock, so to speak, and – particularly at the start of the school year – a last chance to purchase the essential items.
Orders for school uniform items can (and should) generally be placed directly via the school uniform shop. There you’ll find a wide selection of items – all with precise size details, which makes ordering easier.
