But even more than that, this fresh start offers a wealth of opportunities to mature, to experience joy, to make friends and to discover what lies within us...
The school year begins for all day pupils and boarders on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 8.00 am with a joint school assembly. As always, all pupils will wear their school uniforms on this special day and will gather a little earlier in the main courtyard of the Landheim so that the joy of seeing each other again can be celebrated in style.
We will also be welcoming the Year 1 pupils into our community on this day. Following the opening ceremony with the wider school community, they will be welcomed into the close-knit primary school environment.
The boarding school pupils will arrive on Tuesday 15 September 2026 from 3.00 pm onwards. This will give them plenty of time to settle into their rooms and get settled in. To welcome them, there will be a barbecue and coffee in the evening. And parents will be updated on important news and developments at the parents’ forum at 5.00 pm.
However, the team at Landheim Ammersee has been hard at work for much longer: throughout the summer, the maintenance and housekeeping teams have been tending to the campus, carrying out renovations and improvements where necessary.
The management and administration teams have been preparing for the new school year since 7 September 2026 and are training the new staff members.
The entire teaching staff at Landheim will be back in action from 11 September 2026 – over three planning days, they too will be preparing intensively for the coming weeks and months.
What they all share is a spirit of optimism – and a great deal of anticipation: here’s to a good start together!
