Schneeballschlacht vor dem Schulhaus

1 October 2026 | 8.00 am – 9.00 pmFoundation Day & Landheimwiesn 2026

Every year, late summer brings a sense of joyful excitement: a new school year is just around the corner, with new pupils and new staff enriching the Landheim, whilst new timetables and unfamiliar challenges present us with new opportunities.
But even more than that, this fresh start offers a wealth of opportunities to mature, to experience joy, to make friends and to discover what lies within us...

The Landheim Ammersee has been in existence for 121 years.

However, it was not until 1 October 1929 that the Landheim Schondorf am Ammersee Foundation was established, making our institution possible in its current form. We celebrate this day every year with an official ceremony and interesting guests – this time, the women of the Landheim will take centre stage.

In the afternoon, there will once again be a colourful and joyful Landheim-Wiesn. For many pupils, this is a key highlight in the school year’s festival calendar, when dirndls and lederhosen (as well as the Landheim traditional jacket) are worn for the first time.

This special day concludes with a festive formal dinner in the evening. Invited guests and the upper school pupils will enjoy the stylish finale to this important day together.
