Entrepreneure im Landheim

Entrepreneurs at the Landheim

Christina Ingerfurth
Florian Amberg, Chief Press Officer of Allianz, was our 11th Entrepreneur guest.

He impressed our students with his CV, his approachability and his philanthropy.

Although he was heavily involved in journalism as a student, he did not pursue this path for the time being, but studied theology and worked in a hospice. As a young professional, he reoriented himself and started a remarkable career as a press spokesman for various insurance companies. As different as the stages of his life may seem - Florian Amberg unites them in the best possible way: communication is his topic - he wants to listen carefully, perceive, understand, mediate and enter into dialogue, enter into dialogue, enable new perspectives. Personally, he is driven by his "great curiosity for radically new things", his desire to "keep his learning curve steep" and the topic of "self-efficacy", he wants to make a difference, on different levels.

In one respect, he clearly differs from his previous entrepreneur speakers: Amberg is convinced that courage, will and hard work are not the only factors that determine a life or a career. For him, factors such as fate, chance and destiny also have an influence on this. And so he advocates allowing much more trust and confidence to prevail. This has helped him to make decisions more freely and not to allow himself to be put under too much pressure - an idea that should also be helpful and liberating for many Landheimers.

As always, such events in the Landheim are also ideal contact exchanges for internships - as was the case here, because Allianz offers numerous interesting options.
