Landheim Ammersee, Umarmung zweier Altlandheimer

Once a Landheimer, always a Landheimer.

Altlandheimerbund

Since its foundation in 1920, the Altlandheimerbund (ALB) has stood for a lively Landheim community, because "once a Landheimer, always a Landheimer", even after the active Landheim period. Membership is therefore open to both former pupils and former employees. With over 600 members, the ALB creates a framework for continuing and expanding this community without much effort even after the Landheim period, because all Landheimers are united by the Landheim spirit, regardless of whether they were at school together or not
Altlandheimer

Friendship, camaraderie, fun, overcoming challenges and much more... we spent a significant part of our youth at the country home. That connects us for life.

Where old times meet new encounters.

The focus of ALB activities is the big Altlandheim Day, which takes place every two years at Landheim. We immerse ourselves in our old Landheim days for a weekend, with lots of fun, hockey or football games, Landheimsteg, dancing and much more. At the same time, we have the opportunity to experience Landheim today through exchanges with students and staff.

Throughout the year, regional meetings are held in various locations (Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, etc.) in what are known as circles. A newsletter provides information about news from the ALB and the Landheim. Other activities are organised as needed, such as hockey matches with other alumni associations and golf tournaments.

The ALB offers access to a network of like-minded people who can be your first point of contact in a new city, help you find a job or simply be a circle of friends.

What exactly does the Altlandheimerbund offer its members?

  • Remain part of the Landheim community
  • Free participation in the Altlandheimertag (former residents' day)
  • Regional AL circles ‘Stammtisch’ with a wide variety of activities
  • Organised class reunions at Landheim
  • Newsletter (four times a year)
  • Schondorf reports (‘Grünes Heft’; once a year)
  • Bulletin (once a year)
  • Discounts on Landheim offers
  • Potential job and housing market

How much does membership cost?

  • €50/year basic membership
  • High school graduates: 3 years free
  • Discount for persons in education

What are the benefits of membership?

In accordance with the statutes, most of the membership fees are donated to the Landheim for workshops or other activities that directly benefit the students. A smaller portion goes towards administration. Above all, the ALB is committed to promoting community with the Landheim and its current students.

The ALB supports the current pupils

The ALB is also keen to promote the community with the Landheim and the current pupils.

Once a year, Altlandheimers organise a careers and study information evening for sixth form students, giving Landheimers the opportunity to find out about different careers, gain work experience and ask questions – all openly among Landheimers.

With our annual donation to the Landheim, which comes from the membership fees, we support the workshops and other projects that directly benefit the pupils.
